These movements have various pendulum lengths. Most Grand mother size clocks will need a 93 or 94 cm pendulum. Remember that the weights provide the driving force and require room to fall.

Hermle 241-800 movement. 85 cm Pendulum version.
This movement is offered bcause it offer three features.
It is especially good value.
It is very simple to use. The bell is alrady mounted on the bovement.
It needs very little space.
It is weight driven on chains and has a top mounted bell. it strikes once on the half hour and counts the hours. Supplied with all fittings including weight shells and fillings. Dial false plates are not available. You will have to fix the dial to your case.

Being such good value makes this the best selling Long Case Movement by far.It is weight driven on chains and has a full westminster chime in an 8 rod gong.
